Allegan General Hospital's Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is one of preventive and restorative medicine for the purpose of decreasing risk factors and enhancing the quality of life and longevity for persons with either diagnosed coronary artery disease or predisposing risk factors.
The goal of the program is to return you to your optimum physiological, psychological, sociological and occupational status, in a reasonable amount of time, without undue complication. We strive to restore patient confidence and well-being by providing incentive and ongoing support for appropriate lifestyle modification.
Program Criteria
Cardiac Rehabilitation is specialy designed to help you strengthen and improve your heart's health after a cardiac event, preventing the complications that can develop without proper care.
The program will be beneficial for you if you have recently:
had cardiac surgery
had a heart attack
had angioplasty
exerience amgoma
undergone other cardiac treatment procedures
