Chiropractic care involves the manipulation/adjustment of joints (spine or extremity) and associated therapy to promote spinal integrity.
Chiropractic doctors (DCs) are concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of neuromusculoskeletal disorders, and the effects of these disorders on the nervous system and general health. They treat individuals for pain, such as headaches, join pain, neck pain, low-back pain, and sciatica. They also treat osteoarthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, and a variety of other conditions.
