Allegan General Hospital will host an informational and entertaining seminar called Trusting What Your Tummy Tells You. Digestion plays a significant role in staying healthy. This seminar will explore both diagnosis and treatment options for digestive disorders. Participants will learn how to listen to and trust the knowledge their body provides to maintain overall health and quality of life.
“We all want to maintain a healthy digestive system, so we can continue to do the things we love in our everyday lives,” said Jennifer Dentler, Spirit of Women Coordinator at Allegan General Hospital. “This Spirit of Women program isn’t just for the ladies. It is designed to arm both men and women with the knowledge they need to live each moment of their lives without worry or stress due to tummy troubles.”
Trusting What Your Tummy Tells You will take place on Wednesday, November 11 from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at the Regent Theatre in Allegan. Surgeon Dr. David Dargis will be the featured speaker talking about diagnosis and treatment options for digestive disorders as well as sharing tips for prevention on some of these conditions. Conditions will include Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), constipation, diarrhea, Crohn’s disease and more. Following Dr. Dargis’ presentation, the inspirational movie The Bucket List will be shown.
