| In order to protect our patients and visitors from flu exposure, Allegan General Hospital has implemented new visitation guidelines effective Monday, November 23. Under these temporary guidelines, hospital patients are limited to two visitors at a time, and all visitors must be at least 18 years of age. AGH encourages limited visitation within all hospital areas and asks that anyone with a fever, cough, sore throat or other sign of illness not come to the hospital to visit a patient.
Hospitals throughout the country are implementing similar procedures and the temporary guidelines are expected to be in effect until the flu season subsides in 2010. |
