In order to protect our patients and visitors from flu exposure, Allegan General Hospital has implemented new visitation guidelines effective Monday, November 23.
Under these temporary guidelines:
- hospital patients are limited to two visitors at a time
- all visitors must be at least 18 years of age
- anyone with a fever, cough, sore throat or other sign of illness is encouraged not to come to the hospital to visit a patient
Hospitals throughout the country are implementing similar procedures and the temporary guidelines are expected to be in effect until the flu season subsides in 2010. Thank you in advance for your understanding and adherence to this important guidelines.
Food & Snacks
Cafeteria
The Riverfront Café is open daily from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The Café is located in the basement of the hospital.

Fresh Start Cafe
The Fresh Start Cafe is open Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Here you will find a variety of beverages, specialty sandwich, nutritional snacks and small gift items. The cafe is located on the main level of the hospital, just down the hall from Outpatient Services.
Vending Machines
Snack and beverage vending machines are located on the main level of the hospital, just down the hall from Outpatient Services.
Gifts
Small gift items are also available at our Fresh Start Café. The Fresh Start Café is open Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
ATM
An ATM machine is located just outside of our Emergency Room waiting room. |
