| AGH Wound Healing Center Names Program Director |

Rick Garlick has been named to lead the new Allegan General Hospital Wound Healing Center as program director.
Scheduled to open in early 2010, Allegan General Hospital’s Wound Healing Center will specialize in the treatment of chronic wounds and non-responsive conditions and offer hospital-based outpatient wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Garlick will be responsible for all aspects of the center’s operation including ensuring quality patient care, recruiting and hiring, compliance with federal and state guidelines, budgeting and fiscal policies, and marketing and sales.
A resident of Mattawan, Garlick was most recently employed by George S. May International Company which is among the largest of management consulting firms. Garlick has also held management and sales training positions with pharmaceutical companies including AstraZeneca and Merck & Company.
Garlick received a bachelor of science in sports medicine from Central Michigan University.
