EyeTel Screening
Allegan General Hospital now offers EyeTel Screening. This specialized screening is a dilated eye examination that detects diabetic retinopathy—the leading cause of vision loss in those diagnosed with diabetes. It is the result of damage, swelling, or rupture of small vessels in the eye. The best defense against diabetic retinopathy is early detection.
